Proceeding through Bioenergy Procedure

Moving from CEAP into SGIP

This is a structured process with defined "steps" and requirements in each step. As the proponent fulfills the requirements, it moves forward in the process. BC Hydro will notify the successful Proponent, and will tender a Combined Study Agreement to the successful Proponent in no less than 7 days. The successful Proponent must:

  • Sign and return the Combined Study Agreement within 30 days after BCTC tenders it
  • Submit a $75,000 study deposit

The successful Proponent will also be required to provide additional technical data and demonstrate site control.

Proponents must meet all the requirements in each step in order to maintain queue position and move forward in the process. The queue position is based on the Interconnection Request (IR) submission closure date of January 2011.
