Standing Offer Program
On April 11, 2008, BC Hydro launched its Standing Offer Program. Detailed proponent requirements are found on BC Hydro's Standing Offer Program website. BC Hydro's Standard Generator Interconnection Procedures (SGIP) governs the procedures for interconnection to the transmission system. The SGIP is a structured procedure with defined "steps" and requirements in each step. IPPs must meet all the requirements in each step before proceeding to the next step.
