Further to the bulletin posted on December 25 at 10:25 am regarding posting of the Network Economy Economic Test results, we are pleased to advise you that the issue has been resolved.  Thank you for patience regarding this matter.

NE Economic Test Results - December 26 and 27

BCTC has identified that there has been technical difficulty with posting the Network Economy Economic Test Results (NE ETR) for December 26 and 27, 2008. Therefore, we are investigating this matter. Until the issue is resolved, we will post NE ETR via bulletin. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Market Operations and Development (MOD) Organizational Change

Effective immediately, Raj Hundal assumes the position of Business Development Manager and Brenda Ambrosi assumes the position of Wholesale Market Services Manager.

In his new position, Raj will be responsible for the Transmission Expansion Policy and regional initiatives as well as MOD's business system replacement project.

Brenda will be assuming responsibility for Wholesale Market Services, which includes the pre-schedule functions, settlements and billing, revenue reporting and forecasting, transmission data analysis and the department’s business systems. She will also continue to perform the customer service role.

UPDATE - Short-Term PTP Rate Design Proposal Soliciting Comments

In the bulletin posted on October 6, 2008, BCTC invited customers to comment on its Short-Term Point-to-Point rate design.  Based on comments received from customers, BCTC is extending the comment period.  Therefore, please send your comments to brenda.ambrosi@bctc.com by noon on October 22, 2008.

New TIR

On 17 September 2008 BCTC posted a new draft 60 kV to 500 kV Technical Interconnection Requirements for Power Generators and requested comments from interested parties by 30 September 2008. BCTC has reviewed comments and suggestions and posted its responses.

In addition, BCTC has finalized the new 60 kV to 500 kV Technical Interconnection Requirements for Power Generators (the TIR).

Short-Term PTP Rate Design Proposal – Soliciting Comments

Overview of Draft TIR Sept 17

BCTC has completed a draft 60 kV to 500 kV Technical Interconnection Requirements for Power Generators (the TIR). This TIR has been drafted to improve clarity and update to the existing 69 kV to 500 kV Interconnection Requirements for Power Generators. For details please click Here.

BCTC is experiencing technical issues with OASIS and ETS. As a result, we are declaring OASIS and ETS outages. Therefore, Business Practice Sections 13.2 and 13.3 are in effect immediately. We will notify you via bulletin when we have resolved the technical difficulties.
